Core Duties:

Some responsibilities will be, but are not limited to;
• Achieving personal and team KPIs

To be considered, you will need:

• Answers customer questions about services, including when to expect vehicle repairs
• Displays extensive knowledge about products and services

• Uses all methods of customer communication, including online bookings, phone calls, and in-person interactions, to schedule and book appointments, vehicle drop-offs, and vehicle pick-ups

• Acts as an advocate for clients when communicating vehicle problems and needs to repair department

Role Responsibilities:

Receives the used vehicle and carries out repair or maintenance as instructed;
Receives the new vehicle and carries out the PDI in accordance with the manufacturer standards;
Reports current and potential future faults and service requirements noticed whilst working on the vehicle;
Safeguards and protects all vehicles during work with appropriate seat covers and mats to ensure vehicle cleanliness;
Taking extra precautions whilst working on a vehicle to safeguard the vehicle and components from any damage;
Responsibility for good housekeeping in the workshop and work area;
Completes the job card to reflect all work carried out;
Ensures that all hours and materials used are accurately used and recorded;
Ensures the correct use of all plant, tools and machinery belonging to the company;
Report any damages or defect equipment to their line manager;
Minimises wastage of all materials, oils and fluids;
Understands and complies with all appropriate legislation relevant to the department, including COSHH;
Complies with all Health and Safety legislation to ensure safety and well being of self, colleagues, customers and visitors;
Road test vehicles to ensure repairs have been completed correctly, the vehicles issue(s) have been resolved and to customer satisfaction;
Sign off on job cards when jobs have been fully and accurately completed;
Liaises with workshop controller to advise them of work progress and to alert them of any work which is unlikely to be completed by the required time;
Update and liaise regularly with the Workshop Controller / Service Manager to advise on vehicle maintenance progress;
Deliver vehicle to washing / cleaning bays when maintenance work has been completed;
Take responsibility for your actions and decisions;
Follow safe working practices.
Complete and use EVHC and Video VHC and any other manufacturer and Donnelly Group systems;
